Lorenzo Associates, Inc., has managed numerous special projects for a variety of education-sector clients. All of these special projects included some form of editorial, research and graphic design and publication-production services.

Blackboard's Building the 21st Century Campus Survey and Special Report
Lorenzo Associates, Inc., contributed research, content development and editing services for this leadership survey and report on the challenges facing North American Higher Education that was published by Blackboard.

Michigan State University's MSU Global
President of Lorenzo Associates, Inc., George Lorenzo is a consulting member of MSU Global. Under MSI Global's sponsorship, George wrote a series of case studies about business models for online education at nine institutions, published in the Journal of Asynchronous Learning Networks and utilized for a Sloan-C workshop.

University of California College Prep Online
Writer/editor of the "California Virtual School Report: National Survey of Virtual Education Practice and Policy with Recommendations for the State of California." Created a summary of the proceedings of the August 2002 UCCP Virtual High School Symposium. Wrote and
designed a special four-page advocacy piece presented to state of California legislators as a
means to educate them about UCCP’s statewide Online Advanced Placement Program.

The Sloan Consortium (Sloan-C)
We have been providing services for Sloan-C since 2002.  Recent projects include writing a four-page newsletter and a 30-page case study on the "Sloan Semester" that brought aid to students who were affected by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  Other Sloan-C assignments include writing a case-study on the Prometheus CMS; an overview about Sloan-C titled the "Sloan-C Report to the Nation: Five Pillars of Quality Online Education;" a number of articles for the Sloan-C View, such as "What Prospective Online Learners Need to Know,"  and "Marketing Tips;" assisting with proof-reading and editing of the "Elements of Quality Education: Engaging Communities: Wisdom from the Sloan Consortium;" and writing and editing a number of  Sloan-C Effective Practices.

Advanced Placement Online
This is an interesting self-published report written back in 2001 that still has relevant information that applies today about online advanced placement courses and programs.
