The SOURCE Directory of 100 Percent Online Associate Degree & Certificate Programs is published by Lorenzo Associates, Inc., which also publishes The SOURCE on Community College Issues, Trends & Strategies. 

This directory was created as a viable and trustworthy method for prospective online students to search for fully online degree and certificate programs at the two-year level of postsecondary education.

We have provided a service in which only colleges that have clearly stated on their websites that they offer 100 percent online associate degree and/or certificate programs at the two-year level of postsecondary education are listed inside this directory.  

We do not guarantee that all the degree and certificate programs listed here do, in fact, provide 100 percent online associate degree and certificate programs. We strongly suggest that any prospective student investigating whether or not to enroll in any of these programs speak directly with academic advisors at the college(s) that interest them and ask if there are any on-campus requirements for completing any specific program.

Another distinctive feature of this directory is we do not accept the posting of what’s referred to in the education marketing industry as pay-per-lead forms, whereby website visitors search for online programs only to get a relatively short list of colleges asking that they fill out an online form for more information. This directory simply lists all the colleges we could find that offer these programs. Our advice to prospective online students is that they search through the directory and then call or meet face-to-face with the college(s) directly in order to ultimately discover the best match to their educational interests.

We also offer a “featured college” display advertising program to institutions (see the state of Washington for an example). These are enhanced listings provided to colleges in order to give them a way of promoting what they offer in a more visible and informative format. We charge a fee for being a featured college. It is how we hope to sustain and continue to develop this directory.

Finally, in that spirit we would like all of our visitors to know that we are working on many new developments that will make your visit to this directory much more informative as well as interactive. In the meantime, we hope that by providing direct links to specific colleges and programs located throughout the country helps to make your search a little easier and more comprehensive.
