typically provide numerous links to education-related websites. These
sites are good starting points for Web searches related to student,
teacher and administrator resources; classroom and curricular tools;
teacher professional development and more.
Apple Learning Exchange Provides content, social networking and collaboration services. Apple Professional Development Features an array of on-site courses — from fundamentals and integration workshops covering education and professional applications to leadership workshops. Center for Digital Education A resource on K-12 and higher education technologies that features market intelligence programs, advisory services, research, annual events, custom publishing and publications. Coalition of Essential Schools (CES) The CES Network includes hundreds of schools and more than two dozen Affiliate Centers. Diverse in size, population, and programmatic emphasis, Essential schools serve students from pre-kindergarten through high school in urban, suburban, and rural communities. Community Learning Network Designed to help K-12 teachers integrate technology into the classroom, with more than 5,800 annotated links to educational sites with free resources, all organized by theme pages and keyword search. Regional Education Laboratories Network of 10 Regional Educational Laboratories, serving geographic regions that span the nation, works to ensure that those involved in educational improvement at the local, state, and regional levels have access to the best available information from research and practice. SBC Knowledge Network Explorer Official web site of SBC's education program with a mission to help schools and libraries acquire and effectively use Internet and Videoconferencing technology. TappedIn The online workplace of an international community of education professionals. K-12 teachers, librarians, administrators, and professional development staff, as well as university faculty, students, and researchers gather here to learn, collaborate, share, and support one another. Teacher Tap Professional development resource that helps educators address common technology integration questions by providing online resources and activities. TEAMS Educational Resources Provides Pre-K through 12 websites available for teachers, administrators, parents, and students. These resources are an extension of the TEAMS Distance Learning Program from the Center for Distance and Online Learning at the Los Angeles County Office of Education. First published in March of 1998, eSchool News is a monthly print newspaper with a companion website.
